A total amateur who has recently bought his first digital camera, it is an Olympus SZ-31MR Digital Compact Camera. A "Point & Shoot" camera purchased in a "Black Friday" deal, with little or no knowledge about what I was getting. I have only had a computer at home for just over a year so the "Interweb" thingy is all new to me too.

Turns out it is an extremely capable camera which is extremely versatile and easy to use. These pictures on Flickr are my experiments to see how it works and what it can do.

I have a small garden which I try to make look attractive and the pictures I have got so far only encourage me to spend more time on it. Music is my other hobby, I now spend a lot of time looking through the amazing pictures that people post on Flickr while I listen to my music collection
