I'll be uploading snapshots of my everyday life; I almost exclusively do portraiture.

The American Era (2011 - 2014)

I began photography in early 2011. I was heavily influenced by early American Pictorialism, my favorite photographers were all members of the Photo-Secession: Gertrude Käsebier, Alfred Stieglitz, F. Holland Day, Edward Steichen, Clarence H. White among others... their early aesthetic ideals appealed to me. I was a student of Art long before I was a student of photography, Pictorialism was therefore the perfect bridge into the world of Photography for me.

All of my work is high contrast, and most of it is black and while. However the distinguishing features of my work during this era are the subjects; actors, entertainers, musicians (and the people associated with these things), festivals of all sorts were also one of my favorite places to take photos.

The Nicaraguan Era (2014 - 2017)

Mi amor para contraste alto está todavía presente, pero el blanco es el color dominante en mis fotos ahora (en lugar de negro). Ahora yo me inclino por más sencillez y claridad - y una estética más natural.
