I've worked in industry all my life and have a love for the industrial landscape, particularly what has been left behind. I love the connection you can make in a deserted factory to the people who worked there, imagining the hours of their lives spent within the now crumbling walls. Small remnants of those lives are left behind, ghosts of the past firing the senses and charging the imagination. Darkness and shadow are as important as colour and light and sometimes what remains unseen is more important that what is visible.
