Born in industrial north west England I emigrated to Australia with my German born wife in 1976. After spending six years teaching in isolated Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory we moved to north west Tasmania in 1983 where we still live. Our 2 children have flown the roost and we potter about on our 2 acres of land. My favourite images are generally landscapes ... nature provides its own beauty and I enjoy trying to capture something similar to what I see in my mind's eye.
