Had two Honourable Mentions in International Monochrome Awards 2021 , Street and Architecture and 4 in 2022 Landscape architecture; see new album.

Nikon DSLR in 2008,,. Like capturing light in landscapes; trees, patterns in nature. Seascapes, waves. Bought Nikon 7100 in 2015;

2nd hand Nikon 810 in April 2018 which I love, ISO64 (down to 32), viewfinder shutter (v useful for long exposure).. like landscape but keep eye out for any shapes, light, close up. I like details in landscape so often crop images down to interesting shapes, lines, light.

Recently bought several old c 1980 manual Nikkor lenses eg AI and AIs which are lovely to use. so much lighter and compact than auto new zooms ! And they fit 810 dslr; all have 52 filter thread. excellent optics. three pre-Ai, use on Df and F2.

Now also Nikon Df, which I love; as most controls visible as dial switch, not hidden in menus; full frame but smaller. good in low light.

Now also May 2025 Nikon D4. pity shutter so noisy even at 4 f/sec. bought for birds and trains need 10 f/sec. D4 fits hands much better and love vertical grip. I enjoy using it for general photos too.

Now also FE and FE2 film cameras. bought F2AS few months ago; prefer FE2. Something to be said for their simplicity; no menus etc, just aperture ring, shutter knob, manual focus.
