ABOUT THE ART: Garden art competitions and related activities produced by the University Heights Arts Association to compliment the Samuel P. Capen Garden Walk as well as other community efforts.

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS ARTS ASSOCIATION (UHAA): an organization that produces free arts initiatives for artists and the communities that it serves, including each of two garden art competition. The SOIL, SEEDS & SECRETS program, one of six main programs offered by the UHAA, grows, collects, researches, illustrates and packages more than 2000 packets of seed per year.

ABOUT THE SAMUEL P. CAPEN GARDEN WALK:

an annual Garden Walk to showcase gardens in the University District and neighhorhoods surrounding the South campus of the University at Buffalo. The UHAA and the Capen Garden Walk regularly partner for activities.
