It isn't easy to categorize the broad range of work created by photographer and digital artist Allan Davey. His eclectic style of photography ranges from a loose, complete disregard for rules to meticulously planned and precisely executed. His photo montages can appear devoid of digital intervention and his straight photography can look like painted illustrations. The bulk of his work lands somewhere in-between with a unique photo-illustration feel. These various styles can be seen on almost 1300 book covers, many for New York Times best selling authors. His product brochures for Cessna have won best of division Nationally (USA) at the BtoB awards 6x.
Allan has a massive super high resolution elements library shot all over the world which he can draw on to add realism and unique details to any project. He ventures out on several trips a year to interesting and remote locations as well as constantly experimenting with new techniques in the studio to build his library.
He shoots with PhaseOne IQ260 and has many unique lighting capabilities from the fastest strobe to computer controlled rails for extreme macro.
Allan can be hired as a retouch artist, a photographer, or both.
