I live in New Castle, PA. I enjoy taking photos of architecture and landscapes, and candid people photography.

I would appreciate your comments. In addition to English, ich kann ein bißchen Deutsch ve Türkçe ana dilimdir.

A Note on My Username: FotoShipshuck is a play on “photo” and the Turkish word “şipşak,” which is a term historically associated with photographers who took quick photos at tourist attractions or provided headshots near government offices for official documents. So, my username reflects the idea of quick, informal photography.

Licensing: Most of my work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution - NonCommercial - NoDerivs license. This means that most of my images are free to use without any changes for non-profit and educational uses (that earn no profit), as long as I am credited as the photographer (and, if posted on the Web, should link back to the Flickr page). Please credit me as "Murat Tanyel". While not necessary, I do enjoy it when people let me know they're using the image -- it makes me happy! However, it is best to check each image, some have more restrictive licenses, some less and some some are all rights reserved.
