Osiyo Dohitsu means Hello, how are you? in Tsalagi (Cherokee). My Cherokee name is Tenswahtiwah [One who sits by the fire]. My paternal grandmother was full East-band Cherokee Indian from North Carolina. I respect my Native American heritage and I wish I knew more about it.
