I am a retired engineer from Medellin, Colombia. I have always had an interest in photography, which is in my blood, as some of my ancestors were photographers since 1800 in France, then in Jamaica and finally in Colombia. But it was only in 2014 that I discovered birds! My first photos were taken from the windows of my apartment in Medellin, and in a nearby farm that I visited for 60 years without observing the surrounding nature... First I began to study about birds and go birding. Then I discovered new worlds of insects and other creatures that I encounter during my birding tours. I'm not an expert on any taxon, so I prefer to be cautious with IDs, and generally I try to have an approximation in specialized groups before posting it.

So, I have organized my fauna albums by "Family" (not very strictly) and by places. You will find also tematic albums of cities, landscapes, and other things. I hope you will enjoy my pictures
