Take photos of Yachting on the Solent.

My other interest in photography is Reenactment mainly WWII but i take photos of anything from Celts to Vietnam

I only crop - Straighten the horizons and adjust the contrast with my photos ,Lightroom no photoshop , what i see is what you get.

I have been taking reenactment photos since about 1989.

It started with Jousting and photos for a small acting company.

From there I was introduced to a Roman unit

( Ermine street guard ) and did photos for them.

Then i was doing photos for a English Civil War unit .

It then snowballed to American Civil War and this got me into multi events supplying English Heritage and other events .

I was then involved in the large multi event at Bovington Tank Museum , which is now only WWII and tanks.

From there I moved to WWII reenactment

" 514 Q.M. Regiment - Red Ball Express"

Now I am invited by event organisers , I dress as a WWII American corespondent.

As I am now 76 I choose the events I want to attend

From June until the end of Cowes week I take photos of yachting from The Isle of Wight.
