I am retired from what I hope was my LAST job/profession. Over the years I have been primarily a teacher: Swimming, Home Economics , Science and Accounting (community college). I was a stay-at-home mom and eventually went back to school to take courses (lots of them...sigh) for the CPA exam which I passed. I worked in that business (for others and myself) for 20 years. Even as an accountant, I was a teacher...teaching clients how to keep records, the most important part of accounting.

I have always enjoyed 'taking pictures.' When my husband and I have traveled, my Canon AE1 was my sidekick. Then came scrapbooking. In 2005, I went digital. In August '07, I found Flickr and so many wonderful people who have encouraged me and become my friends.

Then Flickr began to take over my world; I have cut back, though not abandoned it. I post photos and comment on yours only on weekends. During the week, I try to view your images and favorite those that are special to me, but I do not have time to comment until the next Saturday. I have not abandoned you; I am just prioritizing my life.

The Flickr experience has been THE BEST! I treasure each of you and your amazing photographs that brighten my day.
