My name is Paul Pascoe, (or “Passy” which is my South African name), and my passions are Photography and Music. I live in Melbourne Australia, and teach High School Multimedia, Photography, and Information Technology. I love helping people to be creative and realise their full potential.

I am an unashamed Sony Minolta Fan Boy and shoot with A-mount A350, A55, A57, A77II, A99II, and RX100 cameras along with Minolta, Tamron, and Sigma lenses, as I cannot afford the thousands of dollars that Sony Zeiss lenses cost here in Australia. I also have E-Mount APS-C Sony A6600 and A6500 Cameras that I use my old A-Mount lenses on using LA-EA5 and LA-EA3 Adapters.

One of my favorite times to take photos is when there are musicians performing, and I love the challenge of low light colour photography in these conditions.

I also photograph Models, Sporting Events, Night Clubs, Birthdays, Parties, Fund Raisers, Events, and Functions; as well as doing informal family and friends photos. I also do some Street Photography whenever I can get the time to do so.

At the moment I am mainly shooting with Sony SLT Cameras, mainly the Alpha A99ii and A99 and E-Mount A6500 and A6600 cameras. Lenses are Sony, Tamron, Sigma, and Minolta. I am gradually building an online resource of useful information for budding Photographers at my website: www.photosbypassy.com

I can be contacted at: photosbypassy@hotmail.com and found on Facebook as "PBP Photos By Passy" and Instagram as @photosbypassy.
