I'm a professional photographer specializing in Collegiate Portraits. I didn't plan on being a photographer but I can't imagine ever being anything else. I'm always anxious to see what I've captured with my camera and always searching to take the perfect image.

Viewing great photography inspires me to become a better photographer and I hope that being on Flickr will help me grow as a photographer If I can help you become better don't hesitate to ask questions.

Photography is like having a third eye.

Through the two I have, I can only see

a little of what is really around me.

But with my third eye, I can stop the pace

of the world for a minute, freeze it in time,

and take a look at what is there,

beyond what I can see at first glance.

Photography is painting with the mind's eye.

With a camera you can do everything an artist

can do with a paintbrush and more. You can show

nature as it really is.

Two photographic rules that will always yield great results!

1) Proper Exposure

2) Tack Sharp Focus of Primary Subject

Proper exposure allows the image to maximize the truest color possible. With digital photography and shooting RAW you can more easily make any adjustments you might want for a given image.

Tack sharp focus will enhance all the detail available in a given subject. The intricacies of the subject is often the thing that make an image an outstanding image.

The most important photos we take are the ones we take of our families. I find myself asking why am I taking these photos of weeds and blossoms. I see the world around me in images that are here for only a moment in time and when I take the photo it is saved for as long as the image exist.
