I have always loved watching my Father and Mother make their own special Photo-Journalistic travels and return with the most breathtaking 35mm slides to record all the remarkable sights they encountered (gives you an idea of the time frame, clearly before digitals). They no longer can make those trips and I find myself seeing, in some ways through their eyes instead of through their lens, and wanting to capture it from my own viewpoint and in my own way.

This is my 38th home having grown up in an Air Force family and moving 21 times by the time I was 20, the rest all came after moving out on my own...must get in the blood but I do love it and have lived so many places it helps me with some of what I do now!!

From my current home, just outside of Washington, DC, I enjoy the blends of BIG city and history, to the very serene scenes that sneak in everywhere at every chance.
