I consider photography to be a very unique form of art and I treat it as such. I think it takes a certain eye to really instinctively shoot good photography. Hello Flickr, my name is Liv Van Etten I am a student at Polaris Expeditionary Learning School in Fort Collins Colorado.

I consider myself a creative person with tendencies to involve myself in a variety of art mediums including painting, fiber arts, photography, sculpting and many other fields of art. I consider my artistic style to be a little dark and weird, I deem a picture successful if it intrigues the viewer with curiosity. I enjoy shooting portraits of interesting girls who I think really enhance my overall theme of intriguing and I think girls are really aesthetically pleasing.

Some of the types of photography you will not see on my Flickr account are over-saturated and often landscape shots which I just do not appeal to me. As my photography matures I think I’ll move into more of the Photoshop aspects of photography as well as multi-media work. One aspect that I find super interesting in photography is the ability to take a little piece of reality and alter it in your own way, which I wish I could do in my own life, photography enchants me in this way.
