I'm an earth scientist who is fascinated by how New Zealand "works". I am fortunate that through my work and hobbies I get to visit parts of the country that most of us would never have a good reason to go to!

The country's geology, landscapes, and natural history provides countless photo opportunities. We live in an amazing natural laboratory, and I love exploring it. We also enjoy encouraging New Zealand's flora and fauna into our backyard, creating a little piece of wild NZ in suburbia.
