I’ve always enjoyed photography from a young age but never took it seriously, in 2012 I purchased my first DSLR camera which was a canon 450D and to me it was the best thing ever. As time progressed it felt like it wasn’t good enough and in January 2013 I bought a Cannon 7D, of which I still have today. Photography is relaxing and a good way to explore the outdoors it also makes you adventurous in trying new techniques.

If you enjoy the outdoors and your surroundings then photography is a must, over the last few months it has helped me battle through my illness and given me a focus. I find photography a good way to unwind and relax, given that I live in Jersey, Channel Islands, we are blessed with some fantastic photo opportunities, especially sunrises, sunsets and not forgetting the stunning coastline.
