Drag to set position!
While I've dabbled in many of the fine arts over the years, I'm continually drawn back to photography like a moth to a 5000K bulb.
I've always been more comfortable behind the camera searching for the right image rather than being the subject matter in front of one. Just as a comedian takes common everyday observations that we all see or experience and peels back the layers to expose the humor, I attempt to capture ordinary objects to expose the artistry hidden within.
Like many photographers, I've been inspired by Ansel Adams and his command of the black & white medium. A more contemporary photographer that has inspired me is Shaun O'Boyle. His haunting images capture the passage of time and invoke emotions of loneliness, desperation and hope. Other artists/designers that have inspired me are Harold Edgerton, M.C. Escher and Frank Lloyd Wright.
