Diane Lomba

is a 13th generation Cape Codder / Nantucketer. Her direct descendant came from England in 1622 and was one of the original purchasers of Nantucket Island. For generations her family has lived on Nantucket Island and Cape Cod where her parents raised her and where she raised her children and where her grandchildren are being raised.

She has a passion for the outdoors and has spent all her life frequenting Sandy Neck Beach. She was raised to appreciate the beach as well as all nature and conservation. She is an advocate for beach access and conservation throughout Cape Cod and all of Massachusetts.

Her love of wildlife and nature shows through in her images. In her free time, she can be found out on the beach, kayaking, hiking a wooded trail or at a scenic overlook somewhere around the Cape and Islands or surrounding New England areas.
