The Pork‘n Bean Queens were established in Feb of ’04 and are a registered chapter of the Sweet Potato Queens (SweetPotatoQueens.com). No we are not Red Hat ladies!!!!!!!!!!

We live in Monroe County IL where Pork and Soybeans are a major part of what makes Monroe County go around, so we figured we would properly represent them.

We started as a chapter of 3 and now have 9 queens in addition to some wonderful princesses who you might see with us from time to time. Over the the years we have been in many parades. We attend the annual Million Queen March in Jackson MS in the St. Paddy’s parade and we also can be seen in the Columbia Daze and Waterloo Homecoming parades every August. We will also be new additions to the Porta Westfalica parade in Waterloo in June.

Our goal is to enjoy life just a little bit more, form new friendships, and provide entertainment to ourselves, along with others in the parades. If we don't make sense don't worry about it...just enjoy our fun pictures and have a good laugh!
