I decided to become an amateur photographer around February 2014, bought an entry-level DSLR camera and started shooting. I've been using internet sites with tutorials to teach me about the basics at first - I wanted to avoid the auto-function absolutely - and then specifics.

Because I'm just beginning I haven't decided what my favorite subject is, I'm sampling all sorts of photography I can.

I do not like photoshop, I try to get my pictures right directly in the camera. I do however use a minimum of Lightroom when it's necessary.

My gear:

Pentax K-500

SMC Pentax DAL 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL

SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.7

Sigma APO DG 70-300mm F4-5.6

Samyang 8mm F3.5 Aspherical Fish-Eye CS

SMC Pentax DA 35mm F2.4 AL

Hoya Pro1 Circular Polarizer for 18-55 only

Macro Reversal ring for 50mm only

Cheap old second hand but sturdy tripod

Cactus V5 dual flash transceiver (with shutter release)

Very old Mirage compact flash unit

B+W 110 (ND 3.0)

Feel free to comment on my photos, even if you don't like something. I'm always trying to improve.

Update June 2019

I've not posted for a while here, but this February by K-500 broke (aperture block failure) and I bought a Pentax KP. Then I went to Canada on vacation. I thought that would be a nice time to start posting my pictures here again.
