As a newbie in photography, I've soon found myself totally immersed in my recently taken-up hobby. I am a Zagreb-based translator and interpreter who is blessed to be located centrally in one of the most beautiful regions in the world and who entertains an ardent wish to remove from the big city hectic arena to my little stone cottage on the Adriatic island of Hvar and to recklessly abandon to the three of my passions: gardening, cooking delicious Dalmatian cuisine and, of course, photography.

As a member of the Flickr community, I find myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from many incredibly talented people here and to have made many like-minded friends who kindly provided their inspiration, appreciation, support and encouragement. For all that I am very thankful.

With such an abundance of breathtaking photos here that I come accross every day and which I just cannot restrain myself from showing my enthusiasm and appreciation for by adding them to my favourites, and with my growing list of contacts I find it increasingly difficult to regularly visit and comment on everyone. So, please do not take offence if I sometimes need more time to catch up with you. Kindly be assured that I'm doing my best to give your well deserved credit to all of you, my friends!
