Native Californian (San Fernando Valley), now retired and living blissfully in Nevada.

I have had an intermittent interest in photography since I was a kid saving up $35 to buy a Yashica Twin-Lens Reflex, and developing 21/4" x 21/4" film in my closet with a towel stuffed under the door to block the light.

For me, digital photography is pure magic. I shoot strictly for fun and marvel daily at having a "darkroom" on my desk.
