I'm a 79 year old white Jewish boy living in the Northeast. If I won a million dollars I'd get my wife the best doctors around and fix her up as best they could. If any money left over, I'd take up flying lessons and buy an aerobatic airplane and go crazy in the sky. Flying straight and level is so boring.

I'm trying to teach myself TIG welding and when successful I will design and build beautiful creations out of aluminum. I love working out in the yard keeping the grounds looking nice, thus getting good exercise and vitamin D. To lose weight and feel better, I've attempted to become Vegan. I'm not 100% there yet, but I've lost over 45 pounds so far and hope to lose another 20 or more pounds. A pound a week seems doable. In a year, that would be over 50 pounds. Once I reach my ideal weight, then I can go back to eating meat and dairy products, but only if I can hold the weight even. If it goes back up, then I'll have to go Vegan again.

Hobbies open up new ways of expressing myself and meeting new people. Presently, I build and fly radio control airplanes. I have 2 welders, one for steel and the other for aluminum. I need to get back into drawing, painting, sewing, crocheting, clay, and designing.

I must throw away the negative, and pursue the positive! Otherwise, I have only myself to blame.

It's been several years since I started writing this shit,er, journal. I've quit being a vegan, but not strictly a steak and potato eater. A bout with a kidney stone brought my weight down another 15 pounds, but have gained 10 pounds back. Fuck it! Trips to the gym will convert any fat to muscle.
