Education in Fine Arts and Advertising. 28 years in the advertising business. 30 years or so in an ongoing visual quest. Highly influenced by COBRA, Alechinsky, de Kooning, Cocteau, Kokoschka, Matta, Hans Hartung and Richter to name a few. My work originates from the application of the dialectic method. An argument of resolving the tension between chaos and structure in everyday life. I am a strong follower of the "Tachism" movement (Art Informel-intuitive painting), the European answer to the American Action Painting of the 40's and 50's. I live and work in the Antwerp area, Belgium.
