Connors is a photographer and media professional who earned a Higher Diploma in Transmedia from the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Media (Hons) from Coventry University. With the transmedia knowledge gained from his studies, he has developed a wide range of design skills, including branding design, campaign design, creative arts, and multimedia production.Alongside his formal training, Connors spent more than five years teaching himself photography, specializing in portrait photography and advanced photo editing. His passion for visual storytelling began in high school when he filmed his first promotional video for the student union in 2014. Since then, he has continuously refined his craft, aspiring to become a professional fashion photographer for international brands.After graduation, Connors worked as a wedding photographer for two years, further strengthening his ability to capture genuine moments and emotions through the lens. His experiences photographing people from different backgrounds have deepened his appreciation for human stories and expressions. Nowadays, whenever he travels, he enjoys capturing portraits of local people to document the beauty and diversity of different cultures. During his days off, he continues to pursue his love of photography, often exploring new locations for creative portrait shoots.Beyond his creative career, Connors actively participates in volunteer work. He contributed to the "Eternal Flame Action," organizing youth development activities that enhanced his confidence and interpersonal skills. He was also awarded the Bronze Standard of The Hong Kong Award for Young People (AYP), which recognizes his leadership, self-motivation, and willingness to help others.Connors firmly believes that “photography is nothing without memories.” His passion for fashion photography was first sparked by his fascination with outdoor fashion print ads. Combined with his artistic eye and love for typography, this continues to drive his ambition to create meaningful visual stories through the lens.
