Born and raised in Miami, Florida Franceasca split her time curating in art galleries and working her way up in the entertainment industry. She began as a fine art photographer and eventually a writer | director & producer’s assistant. This led to her working on film sets as a production coordinator/manager while receiving her BFA in Photography with a minor in Art History then an MFA in Film Production and Film Theory at Miami International University of Art & Design.

 

In 2005 she co‐founded 3GZ Productions, an indie film production company with Venezuelan born director & editor, Iris B. Cegarra. Together they produced | directed | wrote & cut short films, music videos, commercials and eventually became one of Miami’s most talked about female duo with their international hit and award‐winning documentary Darkbeat, an Electro World Voyage.

 

Darkbeat focus’s on the beginning of the electro music scene from Kraftwerk, Afrika Bambaata, Cybotron to the equipment used, producers, artist’s and promoters of today and yesterday.

 

Franceasca’s short films Wicked Garden, Out of Sync and The Theater were selected for various film festivals. Seiden curated Women in Film and Experimental Film & Video at The Miami Beach Cinematheque as well as the 3GZ Ultra Video Lounge, at Ultra Music Festival during the largest electronic music gathering, Winter Music Conference. Seiden moved to Los Angeles in 2008 and immediately began writing and producing for FX Network before moving to Al Gore’s cable channel, Current TV.

 

Franceasca’s films, events, productions and art have been featured cover stories within a variety of periodicals, television interviews and websites. She founded LA’s Independent Creatives [ L A | I C ] an organization bridging the gap between LA’s immense art communities. Seiden consult’s Artists & Collectors and offers Curatorial Assistance to Private Clients & Public Spaces. Her latest project is an photographic archival featuring over 10,000 photos dating back to the late 1800′s. One out of 5 volumes has been published for her client. Franceasca represent’s a minimal of talented multimedia | fine artist’s & urban muralist as we want our artists to grow their art into a lucrative business. As a courtesy (& because she love’s it) she Write | Photograph | Publish | Promote Events | Exhibitions & Artists to give extra exposure to LA’s Independent Creatives.

 

Seiden recently reunited with her childhood friend, actress, Marieh Delfino to form their production company, A Play Date Productions. Seiden and Delfino have penned several original scripted television comedies and feature films that are generating buzz in the entertainment community.

 

Their latest film About a Girl is a unique film about growing up in Miami during the mid nineties set to a unforgettable soundtrack. Franceasca’s passion for music and art continues to fuel her as a contributing writer/photographer for several print and online art, music and culture publications in addition to consulting on various film and television projects. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California with strong ties to her Miami roots.
