Hi I am a Chartered Surveyor, who has a passion for recording the coal mines of South Wales.

I have a passion for creating contemporary reproductions of the abandoned coal mine plans of Wales.

I try to shed some light in to darkest corners of our rich industrial heritage.

Each plan is the amalgamation of the efforts of all those employed in the mining industry.

When combined with the unique geology of Wales each plan is a unique story of labour hardship and adversity.

I am currently researching the abandoned mine plans of the Collieries that remained after the strike of 1984/85, once completed I will be, subject to appropriate sponsorship, creating a permanent public exhibition of these contemporary plans.

There is nothing political about anything that I produce, these plans are above politics and are intended to record the work, hardship and at times fun of the working life of the common miner in Wales.

The surface may now be restored but the Subterranean workings will remain forever to witness the enormous contribution that Wales has had in putting the great in to Great Britain.
