I like to pay visual attention to my environment. For beauty is out there.

After many years of classic photography, I've come to experience the great freedom offered by the digital techniques (both shooting and post-processing). Some images have been modified in shape, colour and contrast, turned into black & white, or even combined together into a new image.

Infrared photography is a new track I've started to follow.

I look for my preferred subjects in nature and people, in their mutual interactions and tensions. A small sailing boat is lost as an insignificant dot on the vast ocean, and yet it continues its course. Strangers find themselves in an unknown environment, but at a particular moment they really enter into it, and form part of it. These are the moments I try to capture. Geometry in all its forms (plants, architecture,...) is also a source of inspiration.
