I enjoy capturing images in a variety of settings, favoring landscapes, nature, history and events. I started out shooting film cameras when I was a kid and then again in the Navy, while visiting different ports around the World. I returned to Photography, when my youngest daughter began competing in competitive racing, such as, Spartan, Bonefrog and Savage Races. My excuse to my wife was that I needed better equipment to catch better images of our daughter's competition as I was too old to keep up with her physically, requiring more advanced telephoto long distance technology. What do you know, it worked! She allowed me to purchase a Tamron 150-600mm lens, followed by a Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens, and eventually a Sigma 60-600mm Sport lens. Then, along came a Canon 800mm RF Series lens to shoot a few birds with. Since then, I have been having great fun capturing images and posting them here hoping that others can enjoy what I am seeing and doing. Possibly getting some tips on improving this craft.
