My experience in photography began with a new Canon FTb 35mm camera as a high school graduation gift. I began reading all I could from the photography magazines and books shooting Tri X, Pan X and then Kodachrome slide film. I practiced every day applying what I learned and it wasn’t long before my Mother was screaming that her bathroom was not a darkroom. In what seemed like overnight life and career jumped to the forefront temporarily shelving my photography endeavors. With the advent of the digital camera I renewed my love for still photography. I quickly realized that what I learned from the film camera was entirely the same and the new technology was truly incredible. Just as the camera and gear were being transformed so was the way we share our precious captured moments. I’ve always believed the essence of photography and the reason we seek and refine our unique captures is the ability to share them. I truly enjoy viewing all of your photographs on Flickr and hope you are able to enjoy mine.
