PLEASE - ONLY COMMENT IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING USEFUL TO SAY REGARDING THE PHOTO. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN FAKE AWARDS (they will be deleted) OR WHICH GROUP YOU SAW OR ADMIRED THE PHOTO IN (as they too will be deleted). THANKS.
I would not consider myself a 'photographer', just somebody who takes pictures. I started out at the end of the 1970s with a Chinon camera bought from Dixons, and have been a 'happy snapper' ever since. Of course back then shots were very much limited by affordability, either from the cost of the film or getting it processed, but going digital a few years ago has given me the opportunity to take almost unlimited numbers of photos with my Canon EOS 70D and Canon 5D Mk.IV.
I have shots in the Air Britain Picture Library (abpic.co.uk/pictures/), ShipSpotting.com, AirHistory.net (www.airhistory.net) and across two Flickr accounts. You should be able to get to these sites by searching on Kev Slade.
My photos have been used in numerous publications, in a few TV series and have been supplied to museums or for exhibitions around the world, as well as for use on the web sites of various organisations. I have also supplied them for use by individual aircraft owners or operators.
Books and magazines to have used my photographs include:
"The US Navy, The Day the Cold War Ended' by Neil Harvey (ISBN 978-1-9999061-7-7)
'Waterways on the Western Front - Untold Stories of World War 1' Edited by Celia Halsey

I grew up in Taunton, the County Town of Somerset, and moved to Bath when I was 16. Apart from several years 'guesting' in Langport, Somerset and 19 months on a Royal Fleet Auxiliary (A386 RFA 'Fort Austin'), I have stayed around Bath, now living just outside the city off the A4 on the Bristol side.
I hope you get some enjoyment from looking at the collection.
