Hello and welcome to my album of memorabilia dedicated to The Carlisle and Silloth Bay Railway, The Port Carlisle Railway and The Solway Junction Railway. These railways were once set in one of the most beautiful parts of our country in the far north west corner of Cumberland along the shore's of the Solway Firth dividing England and Scotland. After my first visit to this area, I instantly fell in love and returned on many occasions to take in the wonderful scenery. I was taken back by the nostalgia of the Carlisle to Silloth line and wanted to find out more. I have done several walks along some of the former track bed where it is possible to do so and I have visited four of the former Station Buildings along the line which miraculously still survive today as private dwellings.

This is my collection of memorabilia which I have collected over the years which I hope you will all enjoy. Where a photograph has a name, it has been credited to that photographer otherwise they have been credited to Unknown Photographer.

There are a two incredibly good web sites that are also dedicated to these railways and can be found here;
