I am a doctor (Pulmonologist) by profession based in Ranchi, India. I started bird photography in early 2014 when I received my first DSLR as a gift from my father. From an early age I had a keen interest in wildlife, which continues to this day. I concentrated my focus on bird photography as they were plentiful in number where I was residing at that time. For a peri-urban locality, SGPGIMS, Lucknow, India has impressive biodiversity. However, wild birds can be the most difficult & daunting subject for an amateure photographer. With time my love of photography grew out of my love for the outdoors & also coz few of my images got published in few Nature magazines, Coffee table book, diaries etc....
