I often take a camera along when I am outdoors. Flickr is a great place to share those photos with others, and also to appreciate the photos that are taken by fellow Flickr members.

I'm a recently retired Program Manager for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, where I was responsible for oversight of many state-managed ocean fisheries. Aquatic subjects continue to be of keen interest to me, and I especially enjoy snorkeling around tropical reef habitats as a related pastime activity. During the past several years I have also become fascinated with native bees, and other insects. All kinds of vehicles are also fun subjects to photograph, especially when they are in motion.
