First and foremost, I am a Railway Modeller. I started taking photographs in 1963 as a teenager purely as an aid to my modelling. I first started shooting in Black and White (cost), then started with colour in 1964, although colour stock was so slow at that time I continued with Black and White as conditions dictated until about 1968. So, my photographs are not aesthetic, I make no pretence at art, merely a record of what I saw and what I might model. This is still the case to this day. Much of what I photographed is no longer there and what I have on this site is a historic record as much as a photograph. Today I shoot video as much as stills. Although my video footage has not appeared on any site at this time.
