My interest in Railways began when I lived next to the Nottingham-Grantham line in the early 70s. Large amounts of freight and summer Saturday trains to Skegness hauled by Class 20 and 25s soon had my interest. Alas very few photos from this period exist (see the album 'Where it all started'). I am now based in the West Midlands and try to get out when I can when family commitments allow even if it is only a couple of hours locally. Every so often a longer trip takes place.
