I hope that my Flickr showcases that I am a creative individual who is enthusiastic about art and design and is willing to experiment with alternative methods and ways of communicating, whether it is through branding, paintings, illustrations, published books, moving image, digital prints or even research and design thinking through sketchbooks and thumbnails.

I am currently inspired by various artists from Jean Michel Basquiat and Henri Matisse. I like how their use of colour and how creative and different their work is. I am also inspired by Sual Bass for his simple clean cut illustrations. I get inspired from things I see when I am out.

I feel that If I was able to study at Camberwell and work within their creative environment, I would be able to explore my creativity and Design skill base further and develop ready for the industry. I have been able to experiment with various different graphic design aspects so far, which I feel is a benefit to me as I have learnt how to use colour and layout techniques whilst creating branding and advertisements and apply my artistic nature to these projects, resulting in various forms of image making.

I currently keep a blog (artfromkyul.wordpress.com) and have my own brand, which sells prints and merchandise through a website I created, www.ff-clothing.com and is also being sold in stores in Leeds and Liverpool.
