I have really grown to love photography over the last few years and it has given me new reasons to enjoy travel, days out and the never-ending quest to improve. I love the technical side too and trying to understand and master new techniques.

I still have my Nikon FG20 35mm camera from 1985 in perfect working order, plus some more recently acquired Nikon and Rolleicord film gear. I love the quality and user experience of this older gear, such as the delightfully small but beautifully made Nikkor AIS lenses.

 

My primary shooting tools are a comprehensive Nikon full frame system and more recently the very convincing Fujifilm X system. While I use zooms for their versatility at weddings, I truly love shooting with primes for totally satisfying image quality and the demands they place on the photographer in composition and creativity
