Retired, grandfather, married, 5 grown kids. Used to be a very active amateur photographer, got away from it, got back into it several years ago.

Shooting digital (Nikon D700 & 300), 35 mm, 6X6, 6X7 and 6X9 (some) film. My go to 35 mm equipment is Nikon, but I do have other brands of cameras and lenses. My medium format is a Rolleiflex 2.8 F and Mamiya RB & RZ 67, Koni Omega and several antique folding cameras. I buy everything used.

When I got back into photography, I was digital only. I started with a Nikon D1 and was pretty confused by it all, but finally started to catch on. Even after moving to a D300, I still wasn't completely comfortable in the digital world. When I found out how cheap I could get a 35mm film camera for, I bought a Nikon FM and I was hooked. Now I shoot mostly film and only go digital when I'm "slumming". Most of my photos are of abandoned farm houses and old cemeteries, although I do shoot whatever targets of opportunity I may come up on. I would like to try portraits with both natural light and flash and wade into "Fine Art Photography" if I can ever figure out what that is.

All comments and constructive criticisms are welcome. Tell me why you like it. Tell me how to improve it. Help me get better. If you choose to follow me, thank you. If you have time, let me know why you're following me. I follow people either because i feel we like to shoot the same subjects or because I think I can learn something from them. I'm on Flickr for inspiration and education.

Thanks for looking.
