Hi,

I will not be following the new SmugMug Flickr into the subscription service. Apart from the volume of the photos that it allows you to upload, I do not use any of the features that the subscription service offers. I cannot justify the cost on that basis. Therefore I will shortly cease uploading photos here and the current photos will be reduced by Flickr to 1000 images. I am looking for an alternative way of sharing my images and if anyone wishes to make a suggestion then please please free.

I am an amateur photographer who enjoys getting out and getting some pictures, but I do not get out enough. There is a lot that I do not know and cannot do, but I do wish to improve. Because of where I live, opportunities to get together with others in a class or group and learn are a bit more limited than I would like. This means that feedback is welcome and positive comments and likes make me smile.

I am also interested in music and use the Discogs database. I have found that I often need to make images of vinyl records, CD's and their packaging. It seemed to be a good idea to share those images here.
