I am 45 years old, and I grew up deep in the roots of country music. I love Ray Price, Johnny Bush, Darrell McCall, Bob Wills,Walt Jr, Tony Booth, and Jesse Smith and the Lonestar Cowboys. I dont really care much for whats playing on the radio today. It has`nt sounded country since the 70`s. as a teenager, I would watch Jesse Smith rehearse the LSCB in our dining room. how great it was to see my dad Herman McCoy on gituar, Max Jordan on bass, Bob Rayburn on steel, and Billy ray on drums. this was the hottest swing band in Texas. when I got my chance to join I took it. Jesse taught me to become the player I am today. The Lonestar Cowboys will live forever.
