I don't know why I came here, but it lured me in. Flickr seemed exciting and adventurous and a place where I could be myself. It started out ever so slowly,

I was curious, I still am

I wanted attention, I needed validation!

I wanted to slow down time, I needed to document my life journey!

I was feeling ambivalent, I needed a place to show off! But I was afraid to!

I wanted to be both photographer and subject!

I was looking for something but didn't know what it was, I am still looking

 

I joined back in January 2005 and was more of a curious voyeur than anything else. For quite a few years, my account lay dormant with very few postings and even infrequent visits to the site. Fast forward to Summer of 2014 and then the need to express myself turned on like a light switch and did it ever! This last four years have been a journey of self discovery! And what a bitter-sweet ride it has been, aka what a long strange trip it's been.

Almost one month into the new year! Where did it go!? Did get to go out and about three time this month! Woo hoo, off to a good start!

Friends update:

Got to meet up with my BFF Mary after not having seen her since this summer! Had lunch and went to LIDOS in Dallas. Now that was an adventure for sure. Later we walked around the Irving mall.

Tried getting together with my other BFF Lia but somehow weren't able to... miscommunications!? Hmmm, makes me wonder.

Happy new year! hard to believe it's 2018 already. And hard to believe my last entry was back in mid November.

Just for the record, I am trangendered and finally comfortable with what it means to be transgendered, yes and all of the highs and lows that go with being transgendered. Still attempting to identify my sexuality! I am fast coming to the conclusion that I am bi-sexual. Now I just need to find a handsome and caring gentleman!

I just thought I would re-mention that, since it seems like I will be added as a contact only to find a few days later that that person has un-followed me.

If you are comfortable with transgender related photos, I have photos for friends and family that show more of me! But be forewarned that you will also need to have photos of that nature or at least photos of yourself or in your profile openly state you do view true femininity in any gender as beautiful (or something to that effect anyways).

Statistically I have reached a milestone of sorts! 1,000 of my photos have been viewed at least 2,000 times, total views on my photo stream is 6.8 Million, with over 1,600 followers! And, I have one photo that has 45,000+ Views!

A thought just struck me as I was washing out my dish here at work (& on a Saturday even)! And I know,,ha ha "The thought must be pretty lonely in your head!" That thought being that I felt in awe (after again spending too much time on Flickr), is how I am humbled to be able to observe so much beauty and creativity from around the world! Flick, love it or hate shows the worlds best!

My, how time flies! I have been wearing the same LBD for Halloween now without realizing it for the past four years to serve as some kind of timeline on how I have self improved.

This year, though, it was without my signature pink platform Mary Janes'. I think I like the outfit better with my pink heels. Maybe next year I will be able to get my hands on a witches hat to spice things up a bit.

Well summer 2017 is fading into the sunset. Didn't get to go out and be the diva I aspire to be as much as I would have liked to! But I am grateful for the times I was able to. Still working on perfecting my look and feeling more confident in trying out new makeup techniques. Hopefully this Fall season will bring more opportunities to develop the inner diva screaming to get out!

WOW! First quarter of the new year is here already!

Continual evolution as a person! Increased interest in photography as I strive to keep my photostream fresh and interesting. Takes so much time, effort and creativity to do this but so much fun and challenging.

Last year was another great year for me in personal growth, just didn't get to go out half as much as I would have liked to, but isn't that always the case!? I am thankful for the times I did get to have some retail therapy!

WOW! Halfway through 2016 & not being able to go out shopping half as much as I would like to!

June marks an anniversary of sorts for me. It has been about four years since I made the conscious decision to really become the woman I wanted to be all of my life and I feel it has really begun to pay dividends, judging from comments close friends have shared with me on Flickr. I am striving for continual improvements not only from my person but also in the overall quality of my photo stream. Hope everyone is living out their dreams if only through our Flickr community.

Wow the new year is off & running. I hope everyone is having a great year so far. Last year was another great year. Late in the year I decided to open my photo stream to show all of me. This was very liberating and nerve wracking at the same time but I'm glad I did it.

I also don't mind you faveing my photos but do appreciate if you leave a comment. Please just don't favorite dozens at at a time. :)

I also appreciate any comments on where I can improve, just don't be mean about it.

I'm really enjoying my lifestyle, just wish I could do it more often!

February - May 2015

I can't believe it's almost mid year 2015! This year is just flying by! January & February were really tough months for me work wise. It left virtually no time for Jessika literally! I went through a full month & a half without being able to indulge in myself. It surprised me how much she has become a part of me. I went through bouts of bitchiness & then even depression. I felt like a lifetime of being away from me! It has left a profound effect on me and only makes me appreciate the times I do get to go out all that much more. Si I'm learning to manage my time that much more & being able to say that I simply must go out & then deal with the work load.

 

Oct 2014 - Jan 2015

WOW! Where did 2014 go?! IT was a wonderful year for me in that I look back and am just amazed how many boundaries I was able to move. It was a year of firsts; I tried clothes on as Jessika at most major retail centers; began eating out as Jessika, first through the drive through window, then at mall fast food places and finally at sit down restaurants! I became comfortable going everywhere I would go in guy mode and noticed a considerable difference throughout the year that I was "being made out" less and less!

 

Finally I got to meet other girls through Dallas Feminine Expressions, especially Lia who instantly became my BFF! Her and I have so much in common that it's not even funny! Here's looking to 2015 being an even more fantastic year where even more boundaries are stretched!

 

July - Sep 2014

Another quarter has slipped by & summer is almost past! I continued as such a fast pace through this time but slowed down in being able to go out as often as I would have liked. The boi world part of just took over. Oh well I guess that's what happens when you're bi-gendered. One of us has to pay the bills.

I have been truly amazed and humbled by how many beautiful tv/ts/tigirls there are out there. My heart extends out to those tgirsl that are living their dream!

 

Apr - Jun 2014

WOW! So much has happened between March & now! It is incredible how much more I have advanced in this little hobby of mine. I went from shopping for clothes as a sissy to going en femme and being able to go almost anywhere dressed as a gurl at anytime. I have also advanced to where I don't get "made out" too often. Teen-agers are the ones that can pick a tv out the quickest, or at least that has been my personal experience.

It is a dream come true to finally be able to try on clothes to be sure the fit properly and are flattering to my limited figure.

 

Mar 2014

I must say this month was a banner month & personal best as to far I have come in my little journey. I was paid a great compliment by an unknowing person who was cleaning the men's bathroom at Walmart while dressed as a sissi, and he told me the ladies bathroom was open! I also worked up the courage to go shopping for ladies clothing as a sissi at a couple of women's clothing store and was totally accepted, and even got to try on several outfits. When I went in, the store was fairly deserted but by the time I checked out, there were quite a few women in the store but none of them raised an eyebrow! Here's hoping April is just as fun & exciting, and looking to continue getting out of my comfort zone!

 

Definitely going through my Daisy Dukes chapter. Buying lots of different pairs!

 

Update Feb 2014

Another update & a big one! For those who may read this. These past few weeks has been one of trials and tribulations & with the inspiration from some great people here on Flickr I have come to the cross roads of coming forward & admitting to everyone that I have not always been straight forward in revealing my true outer-self, please rest assured that all of my pictures are of myself or were taken by me of friends. What I have failed to do to is to truly disclose myself that I am a part time girl only, tv, transvestite, cross-dresser, lady wannabe or whatever the term may be. I guess I have been so caught up in my world that I forget to let everyone know of my more full time role as a guy. I so do not mean any disrespect to genetic girls, it's just that I admire them so much for their beauty both inner & outer. Besides the fashions and shoes are so much more fun then regular guy stuff! :)

So for this I truly apologize to anyone who might have thought otherwise.

Oh well, maybe this will serve as my little journal of sorts!
