Pranoy was born in 1991 in Kolkata and grew up in Barasat city and in Purulia town due to his father’s transferable job. After completing his HS Exam with Science he decided to study Journalism & Mass Communication and got admission to S. A. Jaipuria College, Kolkata. He started learning photography from his college days and admitted to Photographic Association of Dumdum in 2010. After completing his graduation he completed his Masters’ in Mass Communication and Videography from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. He has won a few awards in various Photography competitions nationally and participated in International Salon too and had exhibited his photographs for several times jointly with various photographers. He worked for AMOS Entertainment, a Digital Media Production Studio as ‘Assistant Photographer and R&D Associate’ and now works independently as fashion-product photographer. He is the owner-publisher of “Samantaral Prakashani”, a Bengali book publication unit too.
