Since I could write a whole book here and exterminate my viewers with the efficient procedure of boredom, I'll be very careful and selective with my information. Of course I'll have to say something about myself, since you were curious enough to click on my Profile.

So, I was born and grew up in Athens, Greece. (The terms "grew up" are relative, some say that I still behave like a child.) I went to a good school and was a bad student. I once got a note of three (out of twenty) on a trigonometry test. I never forgot it because three almost rhymes with trigonometree and the whole issue seemed to have a deeper, poetic significance.

When I happily finished school I decided to study Decoration and Graphic Design. There I learned many things I previously didn't know and that I afterwards discovered they were worthless. To further my education (I learned this expression in the good school) I decided to study Fine Arts.

But then things got complicated, unexpected happenings took place in my life and I ended up in Barcelona, where I studied Social Anthropology.

So far so good. I also married a Spaniard and in the seven and a half years of our marriage I forgot many things I previously knew and that could later be useful to me but that was now impossible.

I think this piece of information is rather disconcerting but I'll leave it as is.

After my divorce I stayed on in Barcelona. That was back in 1987.

From then on I did the following: I free-lanced as a translator for several prestigious publishers in Spain - I studied photography - I learned how to play pool (I even joined a team and played in small tournaments and stayed up late every night) - I followed courses on creative writing (isn't that obvious!) - I dived into the fascinating world of fractals - I learned how to dance the Argentinian Tango and stayed up late every night.

In 2005 things got complicated, unexpected happenings took place in my life and I moved out of Barcelona to a small viilage called Beceite, about 250 kms. away from the city.

Since then I have done the following: I stopped translating - I kept on taking photographs - I stopped playing pool - I kept on writing though only for myself - I went back to painting

and I never married again. Sometimes I make sound decisions.

My Profile information has everything to do with reality, so I avoided mentioning names and places. Everything here is true and I may add more information in the future. You may ask me anything you like, I will answer anything I like.
