Amateur photography has become a passion of mine, an escape from the stresses of everyday life. The draw has been the open air and wildlife on my doorstep that I didn't even know was there. The exercise, solitude, beautiful landscape, objects, animals and the challenge of recording a snap in time that is there forever for myself and others to enjoy.

I like and respect all forms of photography and will try to improve my skills in all aspects though I will always come back to wildlife.

I am fascinated on how animals survive in our ever changing landscape which is sculptured by humans (and not for the better).

I follow and appreciate the work of others and can learn and enjoy from their experiences, I appreciate all forms even heavily edited photoshop and computer generated forms as to me it is the enjoyment of the image to the eye that matters i.e a bit like art where artistic licence is accepted.
