In a very real way, creating is my religion. It is my way of connecting with the divine, in myself and in the world.

I paint what I love, which is mostly wildlife.

I use photography partly as a tool for capturing reference photos from which to paint.

But photography is also a way for me to get out there and experience life and the world, capture the magic I find and hold it. Flickr is a way to share that magic with others who maybe live far away, discovering their own sorts of magic in their own personal worlds -- things I might never get to see if I didn't get to enjoy their images.
