I'm a scientist-engineer and an artist. I love cats. As a scientist-naturalist-geologist I write papers and book chapters on topics in paleontology. Artistically, I'm a photographer and I design jewelry. Engineer-wise I'm an expert on all aspects of radars, which is where I make a living. I do special-projects work for the U.S. government in Boulder, CO and am periodically given "temporary duty" assignments at locations around the world. I head the Telecommunications Theory Division for my agency in Boulder and I am a Research Associate at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
