I live in northern Germany and have been taking photos since I was 14, when I still had my simple Agfa camera, but it also took good photos. When I was 27 I bought a Canon AE1 with a wide angle, zoom lens, flash and tripod. When I got the Canon AE1 in 1982, I took part in two night school photography courses. That was a lot of fun for me. We were also allowed to develop photos, only black and white, but they were beautiful. We always have these courses in autumn / winter because people then have more time for them.

I bought a macro lens in 2010, but unfortunately never used it! With the AE1 I always brought good photos from my holidays, from the Rhine, Moselle, Hunsrück, Saarland, Eifel, Harz, Teutoburg Forest, Bavaria, Austria, France, England, Wales and Scotland. But unfortunately I only have a few scans of it on paper!
